Bungie announced Marathon's first post-launch patch will address community concerns about microtransactions while making the extraction shooter slightly more forgiving.
Bungie has confirmed that Marathon will enforce permanent bans for cheaters with no second chances, though an appeals process will handle false positives.
Marathon's open beta runs February 26 through March 2 on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, giving players their first hands-on with Bungie's extraction shooter.
