Overview

A time travel breakthrough at Waldorp-Verr Aerospace Corporation has come under scrutiny from the US Government. An investigative audit goes wrong and the research facility is flooded by a prehistoric lake!

You play as Craig O'Dell, a member of a covert group tasked with rescuing the only scientist who understands how the time portal works.

Gameplay

Primal Rift is a turn-based, single-character RPG set in a flooded research facility. The game is inspired by classic solo-character console-style RPGs like the original Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest, but with modern twists: instead of rescuing a princess in a tower, you save a scientist trapped in a research facility. Instead of swords and magic, you use knives and guns. The game takes place in one large interconnected "dungeon" rather than multiple towns and dungeons.
