Volpe Software is a solo indie game studio founded in Helsinki, Finland, by Niilo Luhtanen. He has a background in film and television, and made the jump to game development in early 2025, hoping to bring his passion for film to video games. Clairvoyage: The Lighthouse is the first PC title from the developer. The goal of the game for the developer is to immerse the player into the game scene with strong visual hooks, like a ship approaching an unlit lighthouse, and keep the interest and momentum up until the clear goal has been reached. The game is experimenting a short-form style game, where the immersion and storytelling is fast paced and easy to jump into. It is tailored for players who don’t have enough spare time for a full-length experience and would prefer a one-sitting game with no long commitment.
