Alfa: Antiterror is a strategy video game created by Russian developer MiST Land South and published by Game Factory Interactive in Russia on January 20, 2005. In the same year, the North American company Strategy First published the game as well. The story of the game follows a Russian special forces Alpha Group. The player guides the actions of the detachment of an elite squad Alpha Group to fight terrorism. Many jobs in the game are based on historical events.
As the commander of elite soldiers from the Russian special forces unit ALFA, you take charge in the fight against terrorism. Each of your men has his own skills and strengths, and every terrain and mission presents its own challenges and dangers.
The enemy is always in greater numbers and on alert. Analyze the situation, develop a strategy, and eliminate the threat! No mission is the same, and there is no universal plan to accomplish your objective.
ALFA Antiterror is based on real events and the experiences of former ALFA members. Authentic missions, as well as true-to-life environments, vehicles, and weapons, complete the realistic gameplay experience.
