Alpha Lyrae Discovery

Overview

This is an open world game with no boundaries, featuring survival, battle, capture, strategy, construction, exploration, and mining. Set in a far future where humanity has reached peak technological advancement, you are sent to the Alpha Lyrae galaxy to establish a base and ultimately build a communication array to transmit data back to Earth.

World and Resources

The planet is rich in resources with diverse terrains: grasslands, ice fields, snow, rivers, lakes, seas, mountains, valleys, hills, forests, volcanoes, swamps, and deep pits. Resource points include stone, clay, petroleum, and magma. Different resources can be processed in different ways - water can be pumped for power, metals refined near magma, geothermal energy generated, and obsidian bricks crafted. Terrain interactions are dynamic: rivers flowing through magma create obsidian rock, magma melting ice layers, and excavated valleys allowing water or magma to flow through.

Challenges

Abundant resources attract numerous large creatures living underground, highly sensitive to industrial noise. Increased industrialization generates higher noise, attracting stronger enemies that emerge from the ground. Swamps and pits harbor particularly dangerous monsters. Building sturdy floors and establishing defensive measures is essential to protect your base.
