Be Kinder and, Like, Be a Rewinder, Dude!

Set in the Summer of 1995, your dad has had enough of your lay about lifestyle. That straight-laced jobsworth wouldn't know fun if it shaved the mustache off his face. "I've had enough! Get a job to earn your keep, or you're joining the military. Then I'm turning your room into a gym'. He slams his hand drawn blueprints for this workout zone on the kitchen table.

The only thing you know is watching films, or maybe film, as you only own one VHS tape. However people will pay to borrow that tape. It's perfect! Using the VCR in the garage, it's time to start Planet Rewind!

Gameplay couldn't be simpler. Rewind tapes, put them in your stock, loan them to customers and rewind the tapes when they're returned. The best part is getting paid for that. It's not even hard work! But if you serve customers fast enough, you'll get a bonus on the sale.

Take to the new fangled internet and buy yourself some new stock. Some new VHS tapes at first, another VCR, a stall at the car boot, then suddenly audio tapes, projector reels, popcorn to go alongside the films. Wait, there's quite a lot of stuff to keep on top of, maybe you can hire your mates to help? With some new staff, you can sit back as they do all the work, though they're a bit slow at first.

Once you have a Winder subcription, it's time to start finding movie lovers in your area. Match, or Pass based on their interests. Make a match and they'll repeatedly come to your shop, giving you an ever increasing bonus! But be quick, or they'll drop you faster than streaming services drop promising new shows.
