• Draft a deck of pickaxes, minecarts, tamed beasts, and explosives to carve your way through the layers of rock
• Trigger screen-shaking chain reactions to obliterate terrain, crush menacing goblins, and unearth hidden treasures
• Unlock over 100 action cards and new relics on your runs along randomly generated maps
• Select from a roster of specialized dwarven miners, each bringing their own distinct playstyles into the run
• Secure the bag and drink away your hard-earned gold at the local Inn

Beards are money-hungry dwarves always looking for an opportunity to make a quick buck. They are lovely fellas with magnificent facial hair and a shared passion to call treasures their own.

Loosely inspired by the saga "Song of the Nibelungs" the Beards are venturing into the mines to grab anything that sparkles. On their journey they are looking for their ex-leader, the Dwarven King Alberich, who stole their golden treasures.

We are a small, independent team of six pouring absolutely everything we have into Beards Go Underground. This isn't just any project for us. It’s a game we are fighting to bring to life and make it as good as we can in the limited time we have.

The next few months of development are critical. We need you to break our card synergies, tell us which biomes are too punishing, and help us balance the economy.
