About the Game

Bowerwhelm is a rogue-like game that aims to deliver the purest form of the genre experience. It adopts a minimalist style with simple graphics, incorporating all the enjoyable aspects that define rogue-likes while stripping away unnecessary features.

At its core, Bowerwhelm is a simple yet fun rogue-like with an addictive core loop. It features simple controls, putting you in command of an archer facing various geometric enemies. Initially, your abilities are just an enchantment for your basic attacks. As you progress and acquire new skill cards, you can craft your unique playstyle.

Build Variety

You can create AFK builds, random chance-based builds enabling one-shot kills, or mobility builds enhancing your movement abilities. When you need currency, you can grind using Farm builds. Alongside evolving your skills, you can also purchase permanent upgrades.

Each map presents different challenges, with greater difficulty offering increased rewards. Different enemy types demand distinct strategies. However, you can also beat levels by evolving the abilities you enjoy, focusing on powerful attacks or passive abilities. You can mix skills and create hybrid builds, with each ability complementing the other.
