Catch the Yeti! is a puzzle game set in a snowy forest where you try to catch, the yeti! Your goal is to corner the yeti by shaking snow off the trees.
Catch the Yeti! is a turn-based puzzle game where you try to catch a hiding yeti in a snowy forest. Despite its casual appearance, it requires deep strategic thought.
The yeti can only hide behind snowy trees. Click a tree to remove snow and prevent the yeti from hiding there, but the tree reverts to snowy after three turns. You cannot catch the yeti by simply chasing it - instead, trap it into a corner using the three snowy trees it cannot cross. Snowy trees are considered connected if they are side by side horizontally or vertically.
Chapter 1 introduces the basic mechanic. Chapter 2 adds rocks, which revert back in only one turn (unlike trees). Chapter 3 introduces snow piles that must be dug up with a shovel. Chapter 4 contains tree burrows connected underground. Chapter 11 features complex maps combining all previous gimmicks.
