Heart Dungeon is a roguelite action game with visual novel elements that follows a boy called Leo who gets inside a video game that manifests elements of the psyche of whoever enters it. He will use this dimension to fight the illness that afflicts his mother and understand what is going on in his own heart.
Heart Dungeon is a 2.5D action Roguelite, with focus on dungeon exploration, item collection, skills and equipment, while the narrative is gradually presented through dialogues like a visual novel.
WHAT DOES YOUR HEART LOOK LIKE?
Leo is an imaginative boy who, after his daily activities like going to school and helping his mother with the housework, likes to play video games. One day, he gets a new game from his mother and finds himself immersed in it, transported inside his console.
As he ventures into the game, he begins to realize how some things from reality begin to manifest themselves within this fantasy world. Soon, he comes across Enfermo, a cadaverous figure who controls the monsters in the dungeon, a manifestation of the disease his mother is fighting. Motivated to save his mother, our protagonist decides to face the monster, since he sees a connection between what happens inside the game and the outside world. However, things are not that simple…
Meet new people and deepen your bonds to acquire new skills and weapons in the virtual world. The stronger your heart is, the stronger you are in the dungeon.
