Set in a fictional medieval land, the story begins as you emerge from nine years of oppression. Though victorious, the town bears the deep scars of battle. As one of the heroes who helped secure their freedom, you are entrusted with a gift from the new King — your very own farmstead.
Beyond the farm, the townsfolk all carry the weight of their own challenges. From broken homes to lost kin — It is up to you to shape the bonds you form and help restore the lives of those around you. Hope has stirred at last, and the time has come to rebuild.
There are no hand-holding tutorials or lengthy introductions. From the moment you arrive, the world is yours to explore.
The game assumes a basic understanding of survival mechanics. Experiment with the environment, hunt for food, gather resources, interact with objects to discover how the world works through exploration and curiosity rather than scripted lessons.
You decide your own path. Explore abandoned houses, hunt dangerous bandits, build relationships within the community, uncover hidden secrets, or simply farm, craft, build and survive.
A daily noticeboard also provides rumours, clues, and opportunities, offering direction without taking away your freedom to choose what comes next.
Your adventure begins the moment you step into the world. What happens after that is entirely up to you.
You won’t start out with much, given just a few seeds to grow and some rusty old tools, you'll have to grind to start earning income. All whilst balancing the effort to replenish your energy with whatever food you can find off the land to eat and getting in those early nights to avoid exhaustion and late morning rises.
Your farmstead is abundant with natural resources. Wood, Fibre, Stone and more as you explore the region. Collect these resources to craft better tools and equipment to progress and thrive. You'll be able to craft basic items on your person, but you'll need to build workstations for larger equipment. As you progress, the same workstations can be upgraded to unlock more equipment. Finer quality tools, weapons and armour will become available to you as you progress to find those rarer materials in the local mines, caves and old derelict strongholds — once belonging to the old regime.
Beyond the farm, the townsfolk all carry the weight of their own challenges. From broken homes to lost kin — It is up to you to shape the bonds you form and help restore the lives of those around you. Be it quests from the King, individual burdens to mend, or merely a kind deed. The town is where you'll find market stalls, the tavern and local events to keep up appearances and work on those neighborly relations. Building relationships will help you strengthen your community bond. If you’re kind, you’ll be rewarded.
Soon after you’ve settled down, you’ll be able to take on quests from the King and the townsfolk. These quests will help you progress, earn rewards and build relationships. No tasks are mandatory, it’s up to you to decide the pace of your journey. If you do decide to explore, be steadfast, my friend—for in distant strongholds, the old king’s loyalists endure, holding our nobles captive in shadowed, crumbling cells. And across the land, poverty clings to the forgotten —a harsh reminder that the fight for reform is not over, and the true victory is still ours to win.
