Long ago, during the Heian period, there was a village where humans and ghosts coexisted peacefully. Created by a ghost who wanted to end the animosity between them, it existed, isolated, for more than 250 years. One day, however, the village was attacked from the outside and completely destroyed. A young boy living in the village, Shiroumaru, and his friends, Gedoumaru and Saki, managed to escape with their lives.
In the year 924 AD, 3 young kids are going to play in the shrine of the mountains but soon they will discover that something is not going right around there and they will start a dangerous journey to destroy the devils that are trying to destroy the world.
The characters can transform themselves into a shape of a demon during a few times in the battles, the battle can be a little slow since is turn based and some enemies takes some turns to be defeated.
