You sit across from a city council full of officials who all have something to say. Some are telling the truth. Some are not. Your job: figure out who is lying, build your case and arrest every corrupt official before your mistakes cost you everything.
Three wrong arrests and the case is over. Arrest the Mayor by mistake and it is over instantly. There is no guessing and no luck, every answer is solvable through logic alone.
Corrupt officials do not just lie. They disguise themselves behind fake roles. Some force honest people to say dishonest things. Others silence key witnesses or quietly convert your allies. One of them poisons the Mayor's own ability to help you.
Every statement on the table is a clue, but it is up to you to decide whether that clue is truthful, distorted or deliberately planted. 15 unique roles - 10 clean, 5 corrupt - each shape the information landscape in different ways.
The campaign introduces mechanics one layer at a time. Act I starts you with five officials and a single Crook. By Act III, you are sorting through fifteen officials with Blackmailers forcing innocents to lie, Silencers shutting down key witnesses, Converters turning allies corrupt and Manipulators undermining the Mayor.
Each act escalates the difficulty: Easy, Normal, Hard. New corrupt roles appear gradually. Tables grow larger. The margin for error shrinks.
No time pressure. No combat. No randomized luck. Just you, a table full of claims and one question: who do you trust enough to leave standing?
