Top-down perspective with a base you can build and upgrade, essential to the story and tied to upgrading your skills, gear, and stats. Control one character but team up with several AI-controlled teammates for harder missions. Travel via an overworld map (similar to Fallout 1 and 2) to explore locations, towns, and find missions. Unlock different powers for your exo-suit including stealth, mass fear, and sand-related abilities. Breed llamas to ride and race them, or unlock cars to travel further into the Alaskan wasteland. Travel is restricted by water capacity, which can be upgraded. The further you venture, the more dangerous it becomes. Death is not permanent but carries consequences.
999 years after The UWN Superfluous' mission to save Earth, asteroid debris crashes into the planet, causing massive destruction. Humanity now clings to life in the dry arid lands of Alaska. Radiation has caused mutations and extinctions, creating the large bipedal Karkadann and frog-like carnivorous Anura. A tenuous peace between the three races is maintained only by limited resources: Humans control knowledge for building tools and machines to extract water and energy; Karkadann protect the only large known water source and produce vegetables; Anura monopolize salvage, diving into toxic oceans for lost materials and technology.
A new threat emerges as the dead rise, seemingly controlled by the reclusive Inks - ink-like creatures that take human form and wear bones for decoration. Why have the Inks turned aggressive? Will the three tribes unite against this threat, or slowly be consumed by it due to mistrust?
