Shelley's Haunted House is a 2D Top-Down Survival Horror Game based on the story of Shelley's house, a famous haunted location in the US known for the dark spirit of the lady in black.

Story

Shelley's house belonged to a rich businessman, Marley, who bought it during the 1920s. His daughter, Mary, became involved in devil worship and was called the lady in black or dark witch because of her outfit. She performed dark rituals in her room on the third floor and became increasingly addicted. Gradually, she was taken over by a demon. It was said that she died mysteriously and her body was never found, even after a thorough investigation by authorities.

Before being completely overtaken by the devil, Mary wrote a letter apologizing to her family and friends, pleading for help as she realized her life was in danger. The letter mysteriously disappeared when authorities came to seize her belongings.

Even now, her spirit is present in Shelley's house and is often seen standing by the window of the third floor. It is considered one of the most haunted houses in the US and is frequently visited by paranormal enthusiasts.
