The portal decision Partway through every battle, a portal opens. Souls you've reaped before the portal are yours forever. Souls after it are unstable. Extract through the portal and you keep them all, die and you lose only the recent harvest. How long can you stay before the swarm overtakes you?
Become Stronger Spend the extracted souls in a permanent skill tree of dark powers. Return stronger. Beat the level. Move to the next, harder one. Hit a wall, upgrade through it, push on.
