The PlayStation 2 version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (developed by Krome Studios) is fundamentally different from the PS3/360 versions, featuring 2–3 extra levels, shorter and differently designed missions, and no advanced Euphoria ragdoll physics. It functions more like a traditional action-adventure game with a local versus mode, offering a more complete story but inferior graphics.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS2) follows Galen Marek ("Starkiller"), Darth Vader's secret apprentice, who hunts Jedi survivors after Order 66. As he hunts targets like Rahm Kota, he begins questioning his dark side training, ultimately turning against Vader and Sidious to help form the Rebel Alliance, leading to crucial choices between light and dark side endings.

Saber Interactive has confirmed the long-delayed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is still in active development, addressing ongoing concerns about the project's status.

Fuse Games showcased Star Wars: Galactic Racer at PlayStation's State of Play, revealing an arcade racer that blends Burnout aggression with WipEout speed.
