The rift: a volatile region of space spanning a thousand light years where a million-year war once raged. Gigantic hulks of wrecked ships containing ancient technology float scattered across the rift.

Few who explore the rift ever return, but those who do return with artifacts of great power and value.

The United Space Force guards Earth-controlled systems from radical separatist factions, while A.I. minds and biomechanical alien species roam the unexplored systems. As the conflicts between factions escalate, so does the need to acquire rift artifacts to gain their technological advantages.
