Talking Guns Meet Kickflips
High On Life 2 has officially launched on Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and Steam, and it's bringing some unexpected additions to the irreverent shooter formula. Squanch Games has doubled down on the franchise's signature humor while introducing extensive skateboarding mechanics into the mix.
The original High On Life became one of Game Pass's breakout success stories, attracting players with its unique blend of comedy, creative gunplay featuring sentient weapons, and the distinctive voice acting style that defined co-creator Justin Roiland's previous work.

What's New This Time?
While the core shooting mechanics and comedic tone remain intact, the sequel expands the gameplay with skateboarding elements that let players grind rails and pull off tricks between alien-blasting sessions. It's an unusual combination, but one that fits the series' anything-goes attitude.
Day One on Game Pass
As with its predecessor, High On Life 2 is available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, continuing Microsoft's strategy of bringing major releases to the subscription service immediately at launch. PlayStation 5 and Steam players can also jump in today.
Are you ready to grab your talking guns and hit the halfpipe? What do you think about the skateboarding addition to the franchise?
