July 30 Releases: RPGs Lead the Day with Blue Reflection and Ungodly
Remasters, an open world ranch sim, and a Switch 2 upgrade round out a busy RPG day
July 30 is stacked with RPGs. Gust's Blue Reflection remaster headlines, joined by Azra Games' dark fantasy Ungodly, the co-op country sim The Ranchers, and a Switch 2 upgrade for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Here's the rundown.
Blue Reflection#
Gust's remaster of the first Blue Reflection arrives as part of the Blue Reflection Quartet bundle. This is a full-on visual pass: textures and character models have been rebuilt into high-resolution versions, and new effects like glistening water fill out the atmosphere. The upgrades aren't purely cosmetic, either. Quality of life additions include autosave and increased movement speed, which should smooth out the friction that dated the original. It launches across Switch 2, PC, PS5, and Switch, so nearly everyone has a way in.
Ungodly#
Ungodly from Azra Games is a dark fantasy RPG built around visceral real-time combat and collectible hero strategy. You assemble a roster, chain elemental powers through seamless team swapping, and forge bonds that unlock synergies between your fighters. The setting is a world on the edge of ruin, and the pitch leans hard into party building and combat depth. It launches today on mobile (iOS and Android), with PC, PS5, and Xbox Series versions planned for later in 2026.
The Ranchers#
RedPilzStudio's The Ranchers is an open-world country-life sim for 1 to 4 players, so you can bring friends along. The loop covers a lot of ground: raise animals, grow crops, craft machines, and build your dream house. The world isn't all peaceful farming, though, with mines and dangerous monsters to explore. Earn the villagers' respect, and the game even lets you find love and start a family. PC only for now.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition#
Monolith Soft's Xenoblade Chronicles 2 gets the Switch 2 treatment. This enhanced edition runs at 4K in TV mode and full HD in handheld, both at 60 frames per second, with smoother and sharper cutscenes. The core journey to find the paradise Pyra calls home is intact, so if you skipped it the first time or want to revisit it, this is the definitive way to command your Blades. It's a DLC/expansion upgrade exclusive to Switch 2.
