Explore a mysterious hot springs retreat nestled in pine-covered mountains. A lo-fi first-person story exploration game in an evocative visual style recalling the dithered and pixelated graphics of late '90s-era PC and home console games.
The steaming springs of Stillwater shroud the mountain peaks in mist. Flashlight sweeping forest paths, lighted windows of the grand lodge, subterranean caverns, moonlit forest clearings. An eerie, half-remembered otherworld with dark, winding paths at once inviting and unsettling. You can't die, but the darkness is ominous.
Meet over a dozen unique characters, each with their own reasons for being at Stillwater Springs: philosophers engaging in eternal debate, a tattooist waiting to inscribe your future, old men, a widow, young lovers. Branching dialogue reveals who they are, how their stories relate to your own, and what secrets Stillwater might be hiding.
Piece together your memory of the relationship that led you here - from first sparks to dying embers. Experience a romance both humanistic and heartfelt through flashbacks that create a portrait of two people, their life together, and who they'll become.
A compact story exploration game (around 2-3 hours to fully complete). The map gradually expands as you explore, revealing new discoveries. Multiple tucked-away pools, caverns, and other odd attractions. Criss-cross the paths using what you learn in one conversation to unlock new dialogue threads and interactions elsewhere.
