Missed last night's State of Play? Every game shown is waiting for you on our event page
God of War Laufey, Until Dawn 2, a new Marvel's Wolverine look, and a pile of release dates. Here's the full lineup in one spot.
If you went to bed before 11pm CEST on Tuesday, you slept through one of the busiest PlayStation showcases in a while. The June 2026 State of Play ran past the hour mark and barely stopped to breathe, opening with a brutal new look at Marvel's Wolverine and closing on a genuine jaw-dropper: the reveal of God of War Laufey.
For anyone who caught none of it, we've gathered the whole thing in one place. Head to our State of Play June 2026 event page to watch every trailer and read up on each title shown during the broadcast.
The headliners#
Insomniac kicked things off with the most violent footage of Marvel's Wolverine we've seen yet, showing off Logan's combat alongside members of mutant task force Team X, including a telekinetic Jean Grey tearing through the cybernetic Reavers. It lands September 15.
The closer was the surprise of the night. God of War Laufey puts you in the boots of Faye, Kratos' late wife, as she fights her way through the afterlife of the gods. Santa Monica Studio shared first gameplay and story details, and it's clearly the next mainline chapter in the series.
In between, Until Dawn 2 got announced out of nowhere. Firesprite is taking the horror series to an abandoned tropical island with a crew of ghost hunters, a brand-new cast, and the return of Peter Stormare as Dr Hill. It arrives in 2027. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis also finally landed a date, February 12, 2027, with Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog taking Lara back to the Peru Lost Valley.
A stacked rest of 2026#

Plenty of fresh announcements rounded out the show. Bancho The Chef is a globe-trotting cooking RPG and a standalone prequel to Dave the Diver. Kemuri, the new supernatural action game from Ikumi Nakamura's studio Unseen, is heading to PS5 in 2027. First-person horror ILL showed off its dismemberment system, dinosaur survival game The Lost Wild is coming in 2027, and Stuntman: Hollywood revived a fan-favorite name. Phantom Blade Zero dropped by to confirm it'll headline its own dedicated State of Play later this summer.
Fighting fans got news too: MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls added Magneto, Green Goblin, and Carnage to the roster. Marathon launched its Season 2 alongside a free Open Play Week running June 2 to 9. And on the PlayStation Plus side, Runescape: Dragonwilds joins as a day-one Game Catalog title, with Gitaroo Man, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams arriving for Premium members over the coming months.
That's the short version. For the full rundown, every trailer, and the deep dives on each game, our State of Play June 2026 event page has it all in one spot.
