Edenfall Lets You Fight as a Wolf, Raccoon, and Raven in This One-Person Action-Adventure
Everflux Games showed its shapeshifting debut at The MIX Summer Game Showcase during Summer Game Fest 2026, with form-switching combat aimed at a Q4 2026 PC launch.
You don't swap weapons, you swap bodies#
The hook is right there in the moment-to-moment play: in Edenfall: Legacy of the First Wardens, you do not just swap weapons, you swap bodies. You play as Venya, a young heroine who can shift seamlessly between human, wolf, raccoon, and raven, and each form carries its own traversal tricks and combat tools that chain together into combos. The wolf hits hard, the raccoon scrambles through tight spaces, and the raven takes to the air, so picking the right shape at the right second is the whole game.
A corrupted realm to heal#
It is wrapped in a stylized, hand-crafted world that has been corrupted, and Venya's job is to push back the blight and restore natural beauty to a fractured realm. It is a familiar fantasy premise carried by an unusually clean idea, and the new trailer that surfaced at The MIX Summer Game Showcase, the indie-focused digital showcase held during Summer Game Fest 2026, leaned into both the exploration and the form-switching fights.
A one-person studio behind it#
What makes the project stand out is the scale behind it. Edenfall is the debut game from Everflux Games, a one-person Austrian studio led by developer Laurenz Baumgartner. A playable demo is already available, and the team is targeting a Q4 2026 release.

Where to play it#
Edenfall: Legacy of the First Wardens is coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
